South Charleston. A city built of Indian mounds, hot cybers and great sushi. A city where you can go to a great Security Con without paying "a little extra." A city home to a security conference event greater than the World Cup, World Seres and World InfoSec Day combined.
Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to witness the greatest happening in InfoSec:
Nov. 17 – 19, 2017
If it's Almost Heaven, we've got it here!
This will be the 3rd year for SecureWV, but it is the 8th year for Hack3rCon (Yea, Hack3rCon!!) so we’ve dubbed this year The “Ocho”.
That’s right Cotton, the conference will be at the same hotel as last year - the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Charleston West in South Charleston and we will have the entire conference center this year for the event as well. Room blocks will stay at $94 a room and we will be announcing the opening of the room blocks soon.
If you would like to be a sponsor, you can view the sponsorship packages, or if you would like more information, contact us at email@example.com. You can also donate to the 304Geeks to help offset the costs via our PayPal button:
The Call for Papers is now open on and will close September 1, 2017, so be sure to submit your talks now.
We will be keeping the format the same as last year with SecureWV on Friday and Hack3rCon on Saturday and Sunday. One ticket will include both
conferences so attendees can still enjoy everything that the conference has to offer. SecureWV will still focus on general IT-related topics and
Hack3rCon will continue to get into the more technical side of Information Security. The entire weekend will be a fun and enjoyable time, so plan
now for Hack3rCon8 and SecureWV3.
Usually you pay double for this kind of conference, Cotton, but the price for the entire weekend will stay at $50 for registration with $35 for Students (with Valid student IDs). The student discount includes High Schoolers as well as College-age attendees. You can visit the Registration Page to order you tickets. While you're registering, you can also pre-order your shirts, along with your ticket, and it will be waiting for you when you show up to the conference.
And remember, If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a cyber.
